We are proud to announce that the Jozi Cats will be fielding a World XV side at the Union Cup 2017!
Born in 2015, the work the Jozi Cats are doing to tackle homophobia on the continent is inspirational – using rugby to change attitudes and promote tolerance.
The Union Cup 2017 offers the new side an opportunity to increase their visibility both at home and abroad and with the message that we are all truely united by the game.
As Africa’s only inclusive rugby XV team, the Madrid Titanes have taken the exceptional step of opening up the Union Cup to a non-european team for the first time and inviting them to participate in what will be their first inclusive rugby tournament.
We look forward to welcoming the South African side and competing with them in almost 10 days time!
